Built to traditional European style by a Byron Shire local architecture ‘The Barn’ features beautiful recycled exposed timbers. The large featured beams in the luxurious open plan lounge and dining area were sourced from an old Bryant and May match stick factory. The sealed brick floor is a beautiful feature following in the traditional European style. The Barn’s doors fully open to allow and invite the open space and sounds of nature within.
A self catering kitchen, laundry and bathroom are all on the lower level which opens out onto a sunny paved area that includes relaxing outside dining and bbq. The romantic upstairs master bedroom features a lush elegant four poster bed, pitched timber ceiling and polished timber floors.
The second detached bedroom is a solid brick rendered building with undercover access. A comfortable, light and airy bedroom with queen sized timber sleigh bed and antique wardrobe that opens out onto the outdoor dining and sunny paved area.
The Barn is situated upon Willeroo, 100 acres of pristine Byron Shire hinterland beauty. The property fronts onto the Wilson River and contains a freshwater creek and natural spring. The owners have put many years of hard work into native tree and rainforest regeneration. Many native animals live within and around the property and we ask that all visitors respect all flora and fauna at Willeroo along with the privacy of the owners and their residence. Willeroo is a working farm, and home to a happy heard of cows and cheeky chickens.
